With the addition of a Caterpillar 349EL Excavator to our fleet, Kelly Construction has kept pace with the project schedule for the PLH Barbuda Golf Course.
Our experienced heavy equipment operators have so far allowed a total of 5 holes to be completely grassed. We are currently working on 4 holes – holes 5, 13, 14 and 15. This will meet PLH’s target of 9 holes completed by Christmas 2021.
In keeping with our mandate to empower local communities, more than 80% of the project staff are either citizens of Antigua and Barbuda or members of neighboring OECS Islands. These individuals are supported by non-national experts with decades of experience in the construction of airports around the world.
